New Zealand Journal of Botany · Vol. 52, Issue 2 · pp. 267-269 · 2014

Abstract

The holotype of Tmesipteris fowerakeri H.N. Barber is identified and lectotypes are chosen for two basionyms relevant to New Zealand representatives of the fern family Psilotaceae— Bernhardia novae‐hollandiae Müll.Berol. and Psilotum heterocarpum Colenso. This article is a contribution towards clarifying the taxonomic and nomenclatural status of New Zealand plants for the plant names database (Ngā Tipu Aotearoa) and the electronic Flora of New Zealand.
