Isotope values in fish eye lenses may be useful in differentiating rearing origins. We compared eye lens isotopic values of fall fingerling age‐0 walleye ( Sander vitreus ) reared in a hatchery pond, a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS), and a natural lake.
