Summary Two new species of Staurogyne , S. yamokmehong J.R.I.Wood & K.Armstr. and S. filisepala J.R.I.Wood & K.Armstr. from Hkamti District, Sagaing Region in northern Myanmar, are described and illustrated. Notes on their affinities, conservation status and habitat are included. Attention is drawn to the medicinal uses of S. yamokmehong by Shan Ni communities living in Hkamti District.
