A conceptual lumped ecohydrological streamflow model (EHSMu) is presented as a promising tool to simulate runoff in urban catchments. The model, based on the interaction between a soil bucket and two linear reservoirs, enables also evapotranspiration and aquifer recharge to be estimated.
