This note reports on eight observations of inverted swimming behavior by species of ceratioid whipnose anglerfishes in the genus Gigantactis , from the Caribbean, tropical east Atlantic, tropical western Indian Ocean, the north‐east and north‐west Pacific and south‐west Pacific.
